Our Principal Engineer, David Byrne, is a professional degree qualified engineer with over 30 years R & D and manufacturing experience in the following industries: computing (IBM in Australia, Japan, UK and the USA), telecommunications, automotive electronics, robotics, specialist test equipment, satellite communications, medical and optical systems. 

David has created many new innovations, including a control system for analysing and improving semiconductor wafer yields at Bosch, a high performance/low cost vision analysis system for safety critical printer circuit board assemblies, high power laser intensity control algorithms, advanced motor kickback pulse detection, anti-piracy systems in hardware, order-to-shipment manufacturing configuration test systems, satellite communications terminals, and many electronic circuits used in products around the world.

Together with our contractors and partners, we help clients achieve their technical dreams. Not only do we do low level schematic and layout design, we assist other companies by consulting on company R & D infrastructure, EMC testing and compliance, creating documentation, and performing design reviews and risk analyses.

We work globally. For example, we will work with US and UK clients, either via the internet, or in person should the need arise. 

We also specialise in a few niche areas with our associates, such as in-depth security vulnerability analysis of IoT devices and equipment, especially in the Linux/Cloud domains.

Since the age of 17, David has been passionate about electronics and technology. His hobbies include restoring Australian console radios made in the 1930’s, and amateur (ham) radio.
